Specification Clause - Conex >B< Press
Press fittings are to be designed for connection to Copper Tube manufactured to EN 1057. Suitable for pressures of 16 bar at -20°C to 110°C working temperature (Temperature and pressures based on 50/50% Water/Glycol mix, refer to manufacturers table for exact temp and pressures for each size ) in all sizes to 108mm. Typically as Conex >B< Press range. Connections up to 54mm are to have a three point press (two mechanical and one hydraulic) to ensure a mechanically stable joint. Joints to provide a positive leak path at fill pressure before the connection is pressed. Electrical continuity must be maintained on metallic systems across all joints. Connections are to be secure and permanent.
Specification Clause - Conex >B< Press Inox
Press fittings are to be designed for connection to Stainless Steel Tube manufactured to EN 10312. Suitable for pressures of 16 bar at -20°C to 110°C working temperature (Temperature and pressures based on 50/50% Water/Glycol mix, refer to manufacturers table for exact temp and pressures for each size) in all sizes to 108mm. Typically as Conex >B< Press Inox range. Connections up to 54mm are to have a three point press (two mechanical and one hydraulic) to ensure a mechanically stable joint. Joints to provide a positive leak path at fill pressure before the connection is pressed. Electrical continuity must be maintained on metallic systems across all joints. Connections are to be secure and permanent.
Specification Clause - Conex >B< Press Solar
Press fittings are to be designed for connection to Copper Tube manufactured to EN 1057. Suitable for pressures of up to 10 bar at 140°C, with excursions to 230°C (Temperature and pressures based on 50/50% Water/Glycol mix) in all sizes to 28mm. Typically as Conex >B< Press Solar range. Connections have a three point press (two mechanical and one hydraulic) to ensure a mechanically stable joint. Joints to provide a positive leak path at fill pressure before the connection is pressed. Electrical continuity must be maintained on metallic systems across all joints. Connections are to be secure and permanent.
Specification Clause - Conex >B< Press Gas
Press fittings are to be designed for applications for Gas Installations to DVGW - TRGI 1986/96 (PN5/GT/1), Liquid Gas installations (PN5/GT/1) and Fuel Oil Installations (PN5). Gas installation ambient temperature -20°C to 70°C, Fuel Oil applications -20°C to 40°C, in all sizes to 54mm. Typically as Conex >B< Press Gas range. Connections have a three point press (two mechanical and one hydraulic) to ensure a mechanically stable joint. Electrical continuity must be maintained on metallic systems across all joints. Connections are to be secure and permanent. (NB: PN5 = 5 bar max working pressure)
Specification Clause - Conex Oyster
Fittings are to be designed for connection to Copper Tube manufactured to EN 1057. Suitable for pressures of up to 6 bar at 110°C working temperature (Temperature and pressures based on 50/50% Water/Glycol mix, refer to manufacturers table for exact temp and pressures for each size). Typically as Conex Oyster range. For connecting into various threaded components or the Oyster Expansion Coupler. Components made from Brass, Stainless Steel or Gunmetal (Red Brass) to be WRAS approved.
Specification Clause - Conex Clyde
Brazing fittings are to be designed for connection to Copper Tube manufactured to EN 1057. Suitable for pressures of up to 15.4 bar and temperatures up to 200°C from -20°C (Temperature and pressures based on 50/50% Water/Glycol mix, refer to manufacturers table for exact temp and pressures for each size). Sizes from 66.7mm to 159mm. Typically as Conex Clyde range. Connections to be made using silver brazing alloys. Long cup design.
Specification Clause - Conex Delbraze
Brazing fittings are to be designed for connection to Copper Tube manufactured to EN 1057. Suitable for pressures of up to 15.4 bar and temperatures up to 200°C from -20°C (Temperature and pressures based on 50/50% Water/Glycol mix, refer to manufacturers table for exact temp and pressures for each size). Sizes from 66.7 to 159mm. Typically as Conex Delbraze range. Connections to be made using Silver brazing alloys. Short cup design.
Specification Clause - Conex Series 3000
Threaded copper and copper alloy fittings. Suitable for pressures of up to 6 bar at 225°C rising to 25 bar at -20°C to 120°C working temperature (Temperature and pressures based on 50/50% Water/Glycol mix, refer to manufacturers table for exact temp and pressures for each size) in all sizes to 3inch. Typically as Conex Series 3000 range.
Specification Clause - Conex Series 8000
Threaded Copper and Copper alloy fittings. Suitable for pressures of up to 6 bar at 225°C rising to 25 bar at -20°C to120°C working temperature (Temperature and pressures based on 50/50% Water/Glycol mix, refer to manufacturers table for exact temp and pressures for each size) in all sizes to 3inch. Typically as Conex Series 8000 range.
Specification Clause - Conex Delcop End Feed
End feed capillary fittings are to be designed for connection to Copper Tube manufactured to EN 1057. Suitable for pressures of up to 16 bar at 110°C rising to 25 bar at 30°C working temperature when using lead free soft solder alloys (Temperature and pressures based on 50/50% Water/Glycol mix, refer to manufacturers table for exact temp and pressures for each size when brazed) in all sizes to 54mm. Typically as Conex Delcop End Feed range.
Specification Clause - Conex Triflow Solder Ring
Solder ring capillary fittings are to be designed for connection to Copper Tube manufactured to EN 1057. Suitable for pressures of up to 6 bar at 110°C rising to 16 bar at 30°C working temperature (Temperature and pressures based on 50/50% Water/Glycol mix, refer to manufacturers table for exact temp and pressures for each size) in all sizes to 54mm. Typically as Conex Triflow Solder Ring range. Solder in fitting to be lead-free solder complying with EN 29453 and ISO 9453, no additional solder is to be applied to joint.
Specification Clause - Conex Compression
Compression fittings are to be designed for connection to Copper Tube manufactured to EN 1057, Stainless Steel Tube manufactured to EN 10312, MDPE, PE-X and PB Plastic Pipe with applicable external diameters. Suitable for pressures of up to 25 bar and up to 120°C working temperature (Temperature and pressures based on 50/50% Water/Glycol mix, refer to manufacturers table for exact temp and pressures for each size). Typically as Conex Compression range.
